The story of the place

The former residence of the architect Kálmán Rimanóczy Jr., probably built around 1903, in an eclectic style with a predominantly neo-Gothic character. After the architect’s death (1912), the building was bought in 1921 by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and became the seat of the Romanian Orthodox Bishopric.
