The story of the place
The first buildings in Oradea by the architects Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab, with Ferenc Sztarill as contractor, commissioned by the lawyer Emil Adorján: Adorján House I (1903) and Adorján House II (1904–1905). The richly decorated façades, treated as a continuous “curtain”, bear the stamp of Ödön Lechner.
