The tower, almost 50 metres high, offers three panoramic levels over the historic centre, while the clock’s giant hammers strike every quarter of an hour.

The almost 50 m tower is part of the City Hall Palace (1902–1903, architect Kálmán Rimanóczy Jr.) and has four levels, three of which offer panoramic views over the historic centre. The clock mechanism is on the first level, and on the third level huge hammers strike every quarter of an hour.
